About JLFUSION


There is a story behind Jlfusion and its name
make yourself a Coffe and read on:

1988-89: The Commodore years
I realy wanted a PC but they was expensive back then so my first computer
was a Commodore 64 for gaming
after a year it got trashed for a Nintendo Nes
I also wanted a AMIGA like my friends had but never got one

1990-94: Playing videogames
For sometime i would forget the Computers
it would still go many years before I get a Pc
I enjoyed playing Nes and Supernes games specially RPG

1995-96:  My First PC + Windows learning
My first Pc was a used IBM running Windows 3.1 without internet
I learned a lot about computers and windows.
the Pc only lasted a year and then got trashed

1997-98: More Videogames
I moved into N64 and playstation  to play more games

1999: SEGA and Internet
This is how it started
back in 1999 i realy wanted to go on internet before year 2000
New Pcs was still expensive for me at the time
so i went for SEGA dreamcast having a webrowser
Late 1999 i conected to Internet for the first time from home
Dreamcast had online gaming so i got early into online games

2000: My Second PC
I spent the whole Summer reading advice to build a Pc from scratch
In September i got my first PC buildt
Back then Internet was only Dialup i was not to get broadband until 2001
Having read a lot of websites i decided i wanted to contribuite something myself
This was learning time for HTML
For newbies i found the easiest way to learn was view source-code of websites
then experience with it.
I also took a quick webcourse over at WEBMONKEY
Is  a great place to learn about developing websites.

2000 : My first webpage is born
In Desember 2000 I began developing my first website at topcities.com
In January 2001 JLONLINE was opened at Freewebs (now webs.com)
JLONLINE was about my hobbies such as Mystery, space and Videogames
By 14 January I changed over to the free Tripod Lycos server
This was a good choice even today 8 years later they kept my website, great Lycos.

2001 : JLFUSION is born
In 2001 needing more webspace i jumped between several free-hosts
since i also needed a banner-free page and a domain name
I finaly found a good fast paid host
But since china already had JLONLINE.com
I had to change the name to something else.

In 2001 JLFUSION.com was born
(fusion like a fusion of dreams)

2002-2006 : JLFUSION and its many project
This was a time to experience with many new things from Javascript to flash
I focused way too much about Design and templates as many newbies do.
By 2004 I was making Flash websites and used jlfusion as webcity of experience.
After this i have owned many more PC and created many webpages

2007-2008 : Blogs and Multimedia
Since 2007 Instead of making html websites and flash from scratch
I went CSS/PHP templates and changed them
I had many plans for many strange original websites
but it all took too much time so i moved into Web 2.0
The future of Blogs and Multimedia started
taking JLFUSION into a new era of conectivity

My first blog (bravejournal) opened in 2007

In 2007 I also went Youtube and opened a Picasa photo gallery

In 2008 JLFUSION began changing  from a Fusion of many websites
into a fusion of many blogs
I moved blogs over to Blogger and wordpress
by 2008 I joined Facebook  during the Obama party with CNN

2009-2010 : JLFUSION today
In 2009 Jlfusion mainsite changed to be a blog
moving away from fancy website designs and flash heaven to cool Blog looks

In 2009 I also joined Twitter and Flickr

So while JLFUSION in the past was a fusion of my websites
today JLFUSION is about Blogging, Multimedia (Youtube,Flickr...)
and conecting (Twitter,facebook)
JLFUSION is now more than ever before
"a fusion of dreams" (I experience and share with the world)

I never will forget how much i enjoyed playing with creating webs


In the past there has been just too much webwork
so many was under construction all the time.

In Late 2009 I decided JLFUSION will from march 2010
no longer be hosted by a premium server

JLFUSION has been hosted by this expensive server since 2001
instead I now moved over to Free Blogger, Youtube , Twitter etc...

The domain name will maybe continue under Blogger.

FUTURE:
JLFUSION will be running blogs, creating videos and photos
JLFUSION plans is to grow steady and learn in opinions from others
JLFUSION want to get into creating art in near future

JLFUSION.com started up as many Newbies does with animated Gifs and midis
over years it has grown with the help of javascript and flash and gone to become
what it is today a Blog

While Jlfusion has changed over the years , The spirit is the same
The ambitions of  EXPLORE, EXPERIENCE AND CREATE
having many dreams and ideas to share with you in one place

It is all about...... A Fusion of dreams
