My New Gaming Rig PC - Part 15

Thursday, June 2, 2011

Games have Evolved a lot over the last years
new gaming consoles being released every now and then
PC marked get more and more powerful graphic cards.
this again create more Pc noise and heat
The solution swap the Graphic card stock fan with After marked coolers.
Today i got The Aftermarked cooler i ordered

I remember the first games i played in the 80s on a C64
Games loaded from a cassette bay and took forever to start
Graphics was cheap but playable until Amiga PCs and gaming consoles
such as Nes and Playstation came.

Today games being 3D with 360° need powerful gaming consoles and Pcs.
While I enjoy playing my Playstation3 you have to admit that Pc games is
so much more funs opening up for Mods and extensions.
Like download new Cars and levels.
and PC games are also cheaper while Console games are Overpriced.
The problem with PCgaming is that you need a Powerful PC
thats it if you want the best gaming experience.

But having a powerful graphic card also opens up for more noise
and make your PC run hotter.
The solution is remplace the graphic card stock fans with aftermarked fans
Even with good CPU and Case fans you can benefit by changing the stock fans

In my case i decided to go for a good graphic card
Evga GTX 580 (10yr warranty)
I will even upgrade to Sli when price drop on GTX 580
but for now for me one card is enough.

I then Went for Accelero Xtreme Plus made by Swiss maker Arctic
In todays aftermarked for graphic card there is not that many contenders
the marked is ruled by Arctic or Zalman.
I decided to go Arctic with Tripple fan solution.
They promise to get your temp down to 36+ Celcius and fans are totaly silent.

Here is a Video i found:
