My New Gaming Rig PC - Part 10

Is not easy to decide for a motherboard
but when marked is hit with a overall P67 Intel chipset error
So dozens of mobos had to be recalled and remplazed in early 2011 Its even harder.
people had to Rmaed the mobo on their finished build pc (returned materials authorization).
Some as me was lucky and had yet to build the pc
and was now in a for a delay until new mobos arrived.
Fortunaly The new fixed (B3) mobos soon hit the marked
but the demand was so high out of stock sign in stores was common.
2011 has been realy chaotic for Mobos thats for sure
But today i finaly recived my brand New Motherboard

Once in the 70s All motherboards looked like
a Pieze of green Junk Ripped from a Startrek Borg Cube
Lately manufactures realized there was other colors than Green
Blue become very common even today

Since my Rig is Red/black scheme (HAF-X red light, keyboard/mouse red light)
I found no joy in a blue Asus/Gigabyte mobo.
My option was a Red mobo (yea they make red mobos)
and had the choice between: Asus maxiumus Extreme and Asrocks Fatal1ty
considering how much cash i spent in hardware the cheaper priced Asrock
was a good option beside the design is amazing.
The Box comes with a a Face of a famous game guy nicknamed Fatal1ty



With a V16+2CPU power phase, Premium Gold caps, Memory indicator with LED screen,reset switch, Sli/crossfire suport, and a Amazing red scheme.
Asrocks Fatal1ty P67 is a good option to consider.



If you gaming rig is Red or black with red lights
your only options for P67 is Asrocks fatal1ty or Asus maximus Extreme.
If you have money to burn then Maximus extreme is best
but Fatal1ty giver your more bang for your bucks and are also great.



One of the downside with Fatal1ty P67 is the anoying background in a already red bios
who want a Gamer guy face as Bios background?
But if you can bear with it then Fatal1ty is a excelent option.



So as for me this is my Mobo

Btw, Now i have everything nessesary to build the PC
just need to save up some bucks for the Windows and pay an Engineer to build it for me.
